Finding a good dj? What to do when interviewing DJ's!
Counting all parties, especially for matters large group, can be a hassle. Sometimes, you get nervous and think that you'll never get everything you need ready in time for the social event. You have to cater to treat, reserve a place, invitations, and most importantly, the DJ. How do you know what DJ you choose?
First, you need to know what questions to ask, besides the quantity of charges DJ. That is only one aspect of determining whom to hire. The first question should be whether the DJ is insured and can provide proof of liability. I will not be responsible if anything goes wrong with your computer. Secondly, you should ask if the DJ will be using professional equipment. Although this does not mean that you will have talent, guarantee that the sound system will be of professional quality and not embarrassing. If you use a professional team, then failure is rare, but the GM should have a copy of safety equipment available at the facility in case of a malfunction.
The following considerations are related to music in general. You should be able to discuss the musical selection with the DJ before the party, ensuring that he or she can provide a list of songs that you require. Also find if the GM is willing to take requests or not this is something that is appreciated in any case. Also, make sure that the DJ is aware of the type of party you are planning and is familiar with proper procedures and etiquette for this type of game. Also most DJ's MC of the event in question, so you want to be sure that the DJ that has experience in the rental of any type of event you are holding.
Make sure the DJ is allowing the amount adequate to establish the necessary time. In most cases, the DJ must be fully configured with all the equipment ready to use and music on hold when it comes first guest. Typically, it takes at least an hour. Check the appropriate attire for the event and be sure that the DJ is willing to dress appropriately. Whether the part that requires formal clothing, has as its theme, or even a costume party, the DJ should be mixed in.
Be sure to establish a written contract. You do not want anyone backing out in a "word of mouth treatment. Everything must be documented, including price, service, and requested services. Also note mind that prices can vary greatly from DJ to DJ, but for a 4-hour event, the average cost runs about $ 1200. Note that this includes not only the event, but all the planning involved, which may increase to 20 or 30 hours of time for the DJ's.
If conforming to these questions, it is likely you choose a great DJ who will provide suitable entertainment for your event and please your guests. So do not be overly stressed about the matter, relax and enjoy good!
