keyboard and the speakers stopped working?

I downloaded a popular racing game (no virus or anything). keyboard and speakers are working well. when I returned to my comp the next morning, my keyboard does not respond to commands (typing this on my ipod) and the speakers werent working. Anyone know how solve this problem? by the way, System Restore is not an option for reasons I can not enter wana

first, this may sound like a no brainer. but see if you are connected to the computer properly. Then go to the printer control panel> and> other devices will either mouse or the keyboard (no matter the order they go in), click the Hardware Drivers tab> Properties> Undo
