What happens when a new version of Serato comes out?
One of the common concerns that people considering buying Rane Mixer TTM-57SL have is,
"What happens when a new version of Serato comes out?
Will I have to buy a new mixer?
Will I have to pay for the new software?
What if my Serato is burned or burning my mixer, I have to replace the whole thing as my old TV shit / player DVD?
There are all great questions so let's tackle one at a time.
1. What happens when a new version of Serato comes out?
Although it is easy to panic about such changes, it is important to understand that nothing will happen to you when a new version of Serato software is released. This will not make your software of Serato Scratch Live stop working, you will not notice the changes, while the DJ, you may not even know that a new version has been released!

As a matter of fact, never have to buy the Serato software Scratch Live. Even if you do not have a single Rane / Serato product that SSL can still download the link above. The software is free. All you pay is the interface hardware, you need to DJ with software (in other words, it basically works like iTunes).
4. What if my on my burns Rane Serato TTM-57SL out? What about the mixer? Do I have to change the whole thing as my shitty old TV / DVD player?
